At Women In Consulting, we are all about empowering women to build strong businesses–we do that through interaction and collaboration. That’s why we’re thrilled to offer our Business Health Check series—designed to give you expert guidance and peer support for 6-months.
January was our kick-off event, and we’ll continue to meet monthly. Whether you’re looking to increase your business proficiency, refine your approach to client relationships, or take more confident risks, this series will help set you up for success in 2025 and beyond.
In May, we welcome special guest Erin Austin, a strategic lawyer and consultant whose special talent is helping women meet their growth goals through the creation of IP-based revenue streams. IP is required to scale your business and when you own and control your intellectual property, you can eliminate the earnings cap by creating new revenue streams that are independent of you and your time, which will magnify your impact by creating and reaching new audiences. Join us to learn how to apply Erin’s work to your expertise-based business build and protect saleable assets so that the business is ready to sell when you are ready to exit.

These monthly sessions discuss the core focus areas that will help your business grow and are spaced a month apart, giving you time to reflect on each month’s lessons and make meaningful improvements to your business. Networking Opportunity
We will kick off each session with a networking session from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm PDT, giving you the chance to connect with fellow consultants and business professionals before diving into the expert-led session of the month. This will also be the time at subsequent sessions to share what actions you took over the last 30-days or ask for advice on a place where you might be stuck. Also, help is available every month at the associated Sandbox meeting, typically the following week on the first Wednesday monthly.

About the Speaker This Month
Erin Austin, Attorney & Founder – Think Beyond IP
A graduate of Harvard Law School, Erin Austin is a strategic lawyer and founder of Think Beyond IP. Erin worked with large corporations, including roles as COO and general counsel at large and small IP-driven companies, including Warner Brothers, Lionsgate (formerly known as Artisan), MGM, Teaching Strategies, and M3 USA Corp.
